Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Fajr Pro mobile application (the “App”) provided by Fajr Pro (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.

1. Who can use the App

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fajr Pro (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher). If you’re under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the App. You can create one by signing in with Apple or Google. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Subscriptions

Fajr Pro is offered on a subscription basis after a 7-day free trial. By starting the trial you authorise us (via Apple’s In-App Purchase system) to charge you the listed subscription price at the end of the trial and at the start of each subsequent billing period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

  • Payment is processed by Apple. All fees are billed to the payment method associated with your Apple ID.
  • Auto-renewal continues until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Fajr Pro.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s standard refund policy. Contact Apple support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Prices may change with notice. We’ll tell you about a price change at least 30 days in advance; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

4. Fajr time accuracy — important

The Fajr times calculated by the App are astronomical approximations based on your device’s location and the calculation method you’ve selected. Different mosques and scholarly traditions use different methods, and observation-based Fajr may differ from any calculation.

Please verify the times shown against your local mosque’s printed timetable before relying on Fajr Pro for religious observance. We make no representation that any specific time shown is the correct one for you or your community.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or the servers that host it;
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the App without our written consent.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including all designs, artwork, code, text, and other content, is our property or the property of our licensors. You’re granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Third-party services

The App uses services from third parties including Apple, Google, and Supabase for authentication, storage, and other functionality. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Fajr times shown will match any particular observed or declared time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to missed prayer times, lost sleep, or lost data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the App or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, subject to applicable law. On termination, your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period; no partial refunds.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you through the App or by email. Your continued use after the change becomes effective constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
